Sorry.

I have discovered that blogging its very hard for me, I have began to keep a journal and I write in it many times a day. I wish I could find a way to share this with all of you. I can't wait to sit down with everyone of you and explain all my experiences. I will continue to blog when I can but please understand why it has become hard for me to find time in this crazy life I'm currently living.

I honestly miss you all terribly and can't wait to see everyone in December. I love you all so much. And I'm sorry again.

A Week Later

I'm really surprised it's been a week since I posted, I didn't relies how fast this week flew! At the same time, this was such a HARD 7 days!

We have had amazing training's all week that I wished I would have blogged about right after but this house never sleeps. I'll try to be better about it. Plus I have all the papers from all of them to remember.

Even if I haven't blogged about these moments I do have pictures. I'm not in everyone and I didn't take all of them but its good for memory.

This pretty much sums up how we feel after a day of training.
This is where I live right now. sandy-eggo. (roadie photo scavenger hunt)
House meeting. You can't see everyone but It's still like wheres Waldo. I'm pretty much right in the center, over to the right a little, sitting down.
Lisa's Birthday (one of the RM's). We got up early and brought her flowers. She HONESTLY is a really amazing person who I have a lot of respect for.
Awesome Art show where you could color all over shirts. I'm not in this picture or did I take it, but I love it. It sums up who they are and the mood of the night.
Chad's mom sent him really funny stuff from Australia, so Bert and I, being his teammates decided we would rock it all for a day. Even though I look completely stupid. ha
Claire's Birthday out to dinner. She is not even in this picture, but I really think this was my favorite night in SD so far.
Sweet posters IC has up in the city.

I was going to end the blog there, but I just wanted to add in that I skyped with Carly tonight, it did make me really miss home a lot, but she also helped lift my spirit so so much. I love her for doing that. But I still do really miss everyone. a lot.

I will try to write more often.

PB

We had Saturday off to spend time a PB. It was amazing, I have never seen the Pacific Ocean before this. I'll probably add more photos later. But basically it means gorgeous scenery, amazing people, delicious ice cream, enticing stories, and a lot of "jumping first and fearing later"

Fellow Roadie Videos.

This video was made by Travis for his blog, this was just to show what the roadie house looks like, BUT this was taken on the very first day, so now there are 40 something more people, including myself, which means 40 times the mess and noise. Also, he doesn't go into the the girls bedrooms, they are on the same level where you see him walk up the stairs and turn, if you go strait there are three other rooms, and another up more stairs. I'll probably take some picture of the outside for you too, so you can see really how beautiful it is out here.

Here is another video that Catherine and Christa made, WATCH IT, it explains one of the lessons we had. A very powerful lesson by a very powerful person at Invisible Children.

And another video that Lauren and Chad made I have a quick guest appearance but nothing significant. The video was a joke video chad wanted to make to update his family and friends back home in Australia. Oh also Chad is one of my teammates. He is a very great addition to our team, it would not be the same without him actually. Anyway, the joke in the video kinda backfired, or at least was not how they intended it to be. So funny.

If I find more I'll be sure to stick them up, and hopefully I'll do a few myself too.

Miss you all.

Something Worth Remembering.

I really just want to remember this moment. I was talking to RJ on ichat, and he was kinda meeting all my fellow roadies and he started playing with all the funny things you can do, which started a really funny photo session in photobooth, which most of us know how great that can be.

Anyway, Dale and Andrea were taking pictures while Chad and I were cooking some noodles and we decide to run over and jump in there next shot, Chad leans over Andrea and drools on her head, total accident, but the two of us lean up and he is like shhh she doesn't know and we kinda giggled about it, but when we bent back down they started laughing because they could see us talking about it in the video on photobooth. holy cow it was so funny.

I just went back and read what I wrote and it probably does not make a lot of sense or sound that funny. but it really was in that moment. A had to be there kind of thing. And Something I don't want to get lost in my memories.

Dream It.

So I'm sorry I didn't blog yesterday. Things have been crazy the first day or so! Yesterday when I got in we went strait to the house and I have not had time for much since. From grocery shopping to coffee shops to closed down trains. Later in the night we went to the roof top of the IC offices and watched this amazing movie with Laren and Jason. Got home super late and just crashed. Didn't even change.

Today was the first day of "work". Basically meeting everyone at the company, seeing the layout of everything and taking notes on a bunch of stuff. Today reminded me of why I love IC. With all this roadie stuff, the video making, interviewing, ticket buying, traveling and what not It felt super good to finally feel like a real part of the team and why we are here. Any doubt I had is gone. Yes, its really hard being away from here, but I'm extremely happy I'm here! Our new motto to live by is "Dream it", or as Jason says, "F**king Dream It!"

I'll post a few pictures tomorrow. Miss everyone. Get on skype when you can.

So Close.

2 and a half more days till I fly to SD! I leave very early on Tuesday, my flight is at 8 something! I'm in the phase of pretty much complete nerves, yes I'm still very excited but It's hitting me now who and what I'm leaving behind. I know I'll be over that soon, but right now it's hard to think about. The goodbye coffees, lunches, and parties have started. This is really happening.

With so little time I naturally feel like I have so much to do! A few more blog homework things, almost all my packing, and more money to raise. But with that comes AMAZING news! I was told that if I can raise another 2000 dollars, I have the opportunity to go to Uganda! Oh my goodness! I was literally speechless when they told me. It would be the week between my training that the actual tour. Which is even more exciting news, I found out that I tour Cali/Vegas! It doesn't seem like a lot to tour, but we soon discovered why. I tour with Andrea Dyer from Canada, Burt Ng from Cali, and Chad Staunton from Australia! Because Andrea and Chad are from different countries they can not drive without an American license, and me, not being 21 can not be on the insurance! Burt is the only one who can drive! Should be very exciting!

I know I haven't written much but this has made me relise that I don't have very much time! I need to get to work!
